California Dream Builders specializes in custom home remodels including bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels and complete home renovations. Established in 1998, owner Shawn Bowman and his team are changing the stereotype of building contractors and creating a new standard for best practices in the remodeling industry. California Dream Builder’s is passionate about their work and they treat every house remodel as if they were creating their own dream home.

  • A unique Sure Bid Proposal™. California Dream Builders doesn’t just go to a home, take a look around and then quote a price. Shawn Bowman and his team of professional contractors listen to the homeowner’s concerns and dreams. Using the latest computer software, the team drafts a detailed proposal that includes not only labor costs, but estimated material costs. More than ninety percent of projects are done for the amount given the homeowner at the time of the quote.


  • Project managers hold weekly meetings with homeowners to update them on the project. Homeowners will not be surprised by increases in the project budget or delays in getting the job done.


  • The Dream Neighbor Policy™. Anytime someone is remodeling their home, the neighbors endure the noise. Bowman and his team contact the residents in the neighborhood, describing their work. Bowman and his team pledge to:

    - Be considerate of the surrounding neighborhood
    - Observe quiet hours of 7:30 pm - 6:00 am
    - Promise to keep a clean workspace, free of unsightly debris
    - Make themselves available to discuss any issues with neighbors and do their best to resolve them quickly
    - Residents will also be given access to each project manager onsite should needs arise.
