We believe that green building should be the building standard and not the exception. In order for these energy efficient practices to make an impact, they must be as widely adopted as possible.
As a socially responsible business, we consider it our responsibility to teach any interested party how to build green. From contractors and do-it-yourself homeowners, to architects, engineers and building officials, we invite everyone to learn how to incorporate and benefit from green building practices.
It has not escaped our attention that sharing our most innovative knowledge of green building with our competition might not be the best business decision. However, as a business dedicated to environmental preservation and education, we consider the potential loss of market share as a small price to pay for the environmental benefits that will be realized. In short, the more we educate contractors to incorporate green building principles, the more resource-conserving, environmentally responsible green homes will be built. Widespread use of green building principles means a positive impact on our health and our planet.
