Design / Build
The remaining 25% of our projects every year are designed and built in-house. This Design/Build model allows tighter control of the budget and schedule. While the Design/Build system tends to be more affordable and efficient, the projects are also more straight-forward, lacking the detail and innovation that a highly trained architect can bring to a project.
If you are interested in major home renovations or a new custom home, we highly recommend that you contract with a licensed, local architect. We can recommend several based on your project size, style and budget.
Once an architect is chosen, we recommend that Earth Bound Homes be brought in to collaborate in the development of the project. This ensures that budgetary constraints and green building principles, materials and details are included in the project’s design and architectural layout.
